It’s easy to get started
Kaiser Permanente WA provides the no-hassle way to better care. After you’ve enrolled, you’ll have the support you need to get started.
Create your online account
It’s easy to set up your kp.org account online once you receive your Kaiser Permanente ID card.
Once you’re registered, you can sign on to make routine appointments, order most prescription refills, see most lab test results, email your doctor’s office with nonurgent questions, and so much more. You can also download the Kaiser Permanente app for your area — and put managing your care in the palm of your hands.*
*These features are available when you get care at Kaiser Permanente facilities.
Note: University of Washington employees must make changes through Workday.
Find Your Doctor
Great care starts with a great doctor. Browse our online doctor bios for details about education, specialties, languages spoken, and more. Once your coverage starts, you choose a doctor for each member of your family: pediatricians, and doctors in family practice or internal medicine. You can choose one that’s close to home, work, or school – whatever works best for you.
Transfer your prescriptions to a Kaiser Permanente pharmacy
We don’t want you to miss taking any medications while you change health plans. We’ll help you transition your prescription so you don’t miss a dose.
Make your first appointment
Whether you want to discuss a medication, just need a routine check-up, or have another health concern, we’ll get you on the books. And, remember, you can change your doctor at any time, for any reason — for example, if you move to a new Kaiser Permanente area and will be closer to a different medical center.
