Put our new mental health and wellness page to use — plus free webinars, apps, and more

Oct. 21, 2021

Previously, mental health content for Kaiser Permanente brokers and employers was located throughout the business.kaiserpermanente.org site. Now, you’ll find all these resources together on one page that’s easier to access. It also tells a more cohesive story on Kaiser Permanente’s holistic approach to mental health and addiction care. Learn more about our mental health and addiction care ecosystem and access tools for employers, including webinars, playbooks, and the new Mental Health Awareness Training.

Additional resources are available in the kp.org Wellness Resources area. These benefit extras include meditations from the Calm app — another new tool that can help manage stress and reduce burnout through fostering self-compassion. Calm content (60 free meditations, mindfulness exercises, and articles) has also been added to the Easing Anxiety and Sleeping Better categories.

There’s more support available for young adult members, too. The Presence of Mind video training series was created especially for them in partnership with e-sports team Cloud 9. It’s currently reaching an even wider audience via FindYourWords.org (and promoted in partnership with iHeartMedia with messages of inspiration from gaming community members and influencers like Adam Levine, Ricky Martin, and Miley Cyrus). These 15-minute videos aim to build awareness, reduce stigma, and help viewers support themselves and others.
